About Medical Store
Who We Are.
Medical Store has been in the same location in Costa Mesa since 1967. We took over in 2002 and immediately fell in love with the nature of the work and helping people in the community. Our main goal is to provide excellent customer service and provide our customers with products that will help them maintain their independence and experience a greater quality of life. Our staff prides itself in offering a different kind of shopping experience.
You deserve to be educated on the products you need to remain independent and active in your community. We consider ourselves Home Safety Experts.
Personalized Support from your Staff!
We received a real lesson in home health and patient care when our mom fell and became a quadriplegic in 2012. Our family personally uses many of the products we sell and are experts on how to use them.
If we don’t have the items you need, we’ll go above and beyond to make sure you get it. We’ll contact sales reps and our vendors to find your item! The best part about our job is helping people find items that benefit their lives, increase their independence, and allow them to stay active in their communities.

We’re Here for You & the Community.
The Medical Store team considers ourselves California’s home safety experts. We’re proud to serve the Costa Mesa community with reliable home medical resources and actively work with various groups and organizations to help our fellow community members.
We participate in various presentations in the Parkinson’s community, giving interactive presentations about our products at several of the monthly support groups. We also attend the Parkinson & Movement Disorder Alliance symposium and participate in the annual OASIS Senior Center Resource Fair.
One of our GMs, Emily, completed a thesis project of creating an interactive community workshop displaying many durable medical products and home health supplies. The workshop continues to be presented to Gerontology students at California State University Long Beach.
Plus, we offer discounts on uniforms (scrubs & lab coats) to all students and HOAG employees!
